He received his Bachelor of Science degree form Brigham Young University in 1977, and completed his education by earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic University, the largest Chiropractic University in the world, in Marietta, Georgia. Our neighborhood Henderson chiropractor, "Dr. V" as his patients call him, was educated under the direction of Dr. Sid Williams, who is known as the Defender of Chiropractic. Dr. Williams was trained under the direction of Dr. B.J. Palmer, known to this day as the Developer of Chiropractic. Dr. V continued his Henderson chiropractic education by studying and becoming certified in the Activator Technique, developed and taught by Dr. Alan Fuhr, DC. This technique uses low force to move bones with speed and accuracy, thus resulting in faster and painless Henderson chiropractic adjustments. In his continual endeavor to improve his skills as a Henderson chiropractor, Dr. V is working with one of chiropractics most dynamic leaders, Dr. John Brimhall, from Tempe, Arizona, and is now trained in Dr. Brimall's 6-step protocol for removing subluxations, which impedethe body's ability to heal itself.
